The present invention discloses a preparation method of bio-based
bisphenol or
polycarbonate material. The preparation method comprises: (1) adopting
guaiacol or
lilac phenol derivative as a
raw material, and synthesizing bio-based
bisphenol according to a stoichiometric ratio from the
guaiacol or
lilac phenol derivative and
formaldehyde under
catalysis of an acid; (2) dissolving the bio-based
bisphenol monomer by using an alkali solution, adding a catalyst, adding a
dichloromethane solution of
triphosgene in a dropwise manner under vigorous stirring, and continuously carrying out a reaction for a certain time after completing the adding; and (3) stopping the reaction, layering the solution, washing the organic phase by using deionized water to achieve a
neutral state, precipitating the product through an anti-
solvent, and carrying out
vacuum drying to obtain the bio-based
polycarbonate material. According to the present invention, the prepared bio-based
polycarbonate has good
thermal stability; and the bio-based bisphenol is adopted as the
raw material, and can replace the traditional
petroleum-based
bisphenol A so as to reduce dependence on the
petrochemical resources, the advantages of
environmental protection, low cost and simple and easy-performing
process operation are provided, and the method is suitable for industrial production.
