The invention provides a preparation method of a water-based orange peel epoxy curing agent. The water-based orange peel epoxy curing agent is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 10-20 parts of vinylamine, 2-6 parts of neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether, 25-40 alicyclic amine, 15-25 parts of epoxy resin, 15-25 parts of propylene glycol monomethyl ether, 8-10 parts of phenylglycidyl ether, 2-6 parts of fumed silica and 20-50 parts of deionized water. The invention further provides an epoxy resin flat coating agent which is matched with the epoxy curing agent for use according to the mass ratio of 1: 5 and is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 300-400 parts of epoxy resin, 25-32 parts of an active diluent, 1-5 parts of a dispersing agent, 1-3parts of an antifoaming agent, 305-320 parts of ground calcium carbonate, 160-200 parts of silica powder, 15-20 parts of wax powder, 80-120 parts of talcum powder, 1-5 parts of leveling agent and 2-8parts of color paste. The water-based orange peel epoxy curing agent prepared by the invention is clear and transparent in appearance, uniform in coating orange peel texture, high in hardness, good inadhesive force, high in acid resistance, alcohol resistance and water resistance, strong in flexibility, high in impact resistance and excellent in comprehensive performance.
