The invention discloses a refrigeration adbsorbent and a residual heat driveresidual-heat-driven adbsorbing type deep refrigeration method thereof. Compared with the prior art, the refrigeration adbsorbent has the advantages that the thermodynamics characteristics of low specific heat capacity, high heat conductivity and the like are realized; the defects of easiness in crystallizing and high refrigeration temperature in the a lithium bromide unit, failure to prepare under the working condition of below 0 DEG C or below, and failure to realize continuous running due to entrapping of water vapor in the refrigeration unit with a single ammonia water working medium are overcome; the working is stable, the efficiency is high, the entrapping of the working medium is avoided, the easiness in crystallizing is avoided, and the like; therefrigeration adbsorbent is suitable for being applied to the industries of chemical engineering, oil refining, metallurgy, power and the like, and the low-grade residual heat and waste heat producedin the industrial process are recycled and converted into effective cold energy.
