Precision and accuracy of measuring zinc, copper, lead, cadmium and chromium in a polluted water body by the measurement of the heavy metals in the water body environment by utilization of the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry are high. The relative standard deviation is 104-471%. The measurement is simple and convenient in operation, small in acid using amount and capable of reducing pollution, and is a preferred method for measuring heavy metals in polluted water.

Compared with a traditional extracting method adopting an organic solvent, the method completely avoids using volatile organic solvents, such as methanol, ethanol, and the like, the optimal extracting time is shortened to less than 20 minutes of the method from more than ten hours of a traditional method, and the extracting efficiency is enhanced by 4-5 percent. In addition, an aqueous solution of the surfactant is adopted to carry out leaching; and compared with methanol and ethanol used in the prior art, the dioscin has greatly reduced cost and good safety and is especially suitable for industrial large-scale production.
