The invention discloses hot pepper and a determining method for 96 pesticide residues in a product of the hot pepper. The determining method comprises the following steps: homogenously extracting residual pesticide in a sample with 1% acetic acid-acetonitrile solution, purifying the extracting solution with a Florisil solid phase extraction column, dispersing and purifying the extracting solution with ethylenediamine-N-propyl silane (PSA) and octadecyl silane bonded phase (C18) substrate, detecting 69 pesticide residuals in the purified concentrated liquid of the Florisil column by GC-MS (gaschromatographic mass spectrometry), detecting 27 pesticide residuals in the substrate dispersed purified liquid by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS / MS), using the black substrate solution dilution standard to construct the updated calibration curves, adopting an internal standard method to quantify when using GC / MS to detect the residuals, and adopting an external standard method to quantify when using LC-MS / MS to detect the residuals. The average recovery rate of the method is 70.7-118.6%; the average relative standard deviation (RSD) is 3.2-11.4%; the detection limit is 0.13-28.2 ug / kg. The determining method has the advantages of simplicity and convenience in operation, high speed, accuracy, high sensitivity and good repeatability.

Facial animation using motion capture data

Methods and apparatus for facial animation using motion capture data are described herein. A mathematic solution based on minimizing a metric reduces the number of motion capture markers needed to accurately translate motion capture data to facial animation. A set of motion capture markers and their placement on an actor are defined and a set of virtual shapes having virtual markers are defined. The movement of the virtual markers are modeled based on an anatomical model. An initial facial capture is correlated to a corresponding virtual reference shape. For each subsequent facial capture, a delta vector is computed and a matrix solution determined based on the delta marker, initial positions, and set of virtual shapes. The solution can minimize a metric such as mean squared distance. The solution can be manually modified or edited using a user interface or console.

Detection of analytes using electrochemistry

The present invention relates to diagnostic assays whereby the detection means is based on electrochemical reactions. This means that the label to be detected provides an electric signal. Preferred labels are enzymes giving such a signal. Provided is a flow cell whereby a solid phase is provided in a flow stream of the sample, in close proximity to a working electrode to detect any electrical signal. In a typical embodiment, a sample is mixed with molecule having specific binding affinity for an analyte of which the presence in the sample is to be detected, whereby said specific binding molecule is provided with a label. The conjugate of labelled specific binding molecule and analyte is then immobilized on the solid phase in the vicinity of the working electrode, the flow cell is rinsed with a solution and afterwards a substrate solution for the label (an enzyme) is provided upon which an electrical signal is generated and can be detected by the working electrode. The methods and devices of the present invention are particular useful for liquids which comprise many substances that may disturb measurement in conventional assays. The design of the flow cell allows for removal of said interfering substances before measurement. In a preferred embodiment at least part of the solid phase is provided in the form of magnetic beads. In this embodiment the solid phase can be mixed with the sample thereby creating a longer reaction time, a better sensitivity and a higher speed of the assay.

A deconvolution solution procedure is implemented that includes constructing a matrix solution equation with a damping parameter, and solving the matrix solution equation with a selected number of iterations to construct a plurality of effusivity images. Using the novel depth deconvolution algorithm with experimental data acquired from a one-sided pulsed thermal-imaging system provides greater sensitivity for internal sample features substantially eliminating degradation in depth resolution.

The invention discloses a method for testing a group of biomarkers. The method comprises the following steps: (1) extraction and purification; (2) preparation of standard working solutions, wherein blank samples are processed with the method shown in the step (1), and biomarker series concentration standard working solutions of at least three concentrations are prepared with matrix solutions of the blank samples within the range of 2-100 micrograms per liter; (3) liquid chromatogram-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS / MS) determination. A dispersive solid-phase extraction technique is used for the method, a sample pre-processing method capable of avoiding interference of matrixes in the samples easily, conveniently, quickly and effectively is developed, the pre-processing method is combined with the high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS / MS) and is used for qualitative confirmation and quantitative detection of content of the biomarkers in animal tissue and urine, the recovery rate of the method ranges from 4.2% to 106.2%, the average relative standard deviation (RSD) ranges from 6.4% to 13.0%, the limit of detection is 20.0 microgram per kilogram, the limit of quantitation is 50.0 microgram per kilogram, and the method has the advantages of being easy and convenient to operate, quick, accurate, high in sensitivity and good in repeatability.
