The invention provides a biomedical metastable
beta type Zr-Nb
alloy ingot casting. The biomedical metastable
beta type Zr-Nb
alloy ingot casting is composed of components including, by
mass percent, 10% to 50% of Nb, 0.05% to 0.15% of O and the balance Zr and inevitable impurities. In addition, the invention further provides a method for preparing the Zr-Nb
alloy ingot casting. The method comprises the steps that firstly, raw materials are weighed and mixed to be pressed into a self-consuming
electrode block; secondly, combined
welding is carried out to obtain a primary self-consuming
electrode; thirdly,
smelting is carried out to obtain a primary
ingot casting; fourthly, combined
welding is carried out to obtain a secondary self-consuming
electrode; fifthly,
smelting is carried out to obtain a secondary
ingot casting; sixthly, combined
welding is carried out to obtain a three-time self-consuming electrode; seventhly,
smelting is carried out to obtain a finished product
ingot casting. According to the alloy ingot casting, the content of Zr in the
alloy element is higher than the content of Zr-Nb base alloy for traditional
nuclear engineering, the chemical component uniformity is good, an alloy bar obtained through
machining treatment of the finished product ingot casting has the good comprehensive
mechanical property, and the ingot casting has the good application prospect in the
surgical implant field of the orthopedics department, the
dentistry and the like.
