Energy delivery device with self-heat calibration

The present invention provides an energy delivery device for use with a medical treatment system for the more efficacious treatment of patients during laser surgery. An energy delivery device comprises an optical fiber and a memory device having data programmed therein. The data is specifically associated with the energy self-absorption properties of the optical fiber. This data may include a calibration parameter indicative of a self-heating characteristic of the optical fiber. The optical fiber and the memory device are operatively connected to the energy delivery device during use of the medical treatment system. The calibration parameter stored within the memory device is used by a main processor to calculate a corrected temperature value from a measured temperature at the treatment site. Thereafter, the power level of the energy generator is automatically adjusted in response to the corrected temperature value to assure that the proper energy is delivered to the human tissue through the light-diffusing section of the optical fiber. The power level is either increased or decreased to the correct power level setting for the desired temperature based on the calibration parameter.

The invention provides a working system of an electrically controlled natural gas engine. A natural gas supply system comprises a natural gas storage tank, a switch electromagnetic valve and a pressure reducing valve which are connected in turn, and a natural gas introducing device introduces natural gas into a gas intake manifold; the natural gas introducing device is an electronic adjusting valve or an ejector and is controlled by an ECU; the ECU comprises a natural gas introducing control program, an ignition control program and an idle speed control program; in addition, a gas storage tank with function of stabilizing pressure is arranged between the pressure reducing valve and the ejector, so that the natural gas engine and an electronic control system thereof run more stably; the control of the natural gas introducing amount is achieved through the control of output pulse width; a self-absorption system has the advantages of stable performance and lower cost, and is comparatively suitable for refit of old gasoline engines and diesel engines; and a direct injection type system has the advantages of good performance, good acceleration performance and high efficiency, and can meet higher discharge normative requirement.

We introduce a new technology for Manufacturable, High Power Density, High Volume Utilization Nuclear Batteries. Betavoltaic batteries are an excellent choice for battery applications which require long life, high power density, or the ability to operate in harsh environments. In order to optimize the performance of betavoltaic batteries for these applications or any other application, it is desirable to maximize the efficiency of beta particle energy conversion into power, while at the same time increasing the power density of an overall device. The small (submicron) thickness of the active volume of both the isotope layer and the semiconductor device is due to the short absorption length of beta electrons. The absorption length determines the self absorption of the beta particles in the radioisotope layer as well as the range, or travel distance, of the betas in the semiconductor converter which is typically a semiconductor device comprising at least one PN junction. Various devices and methods to solve the current industry problems and limitations are presented here.

The method can explain the fixed-quantity information of element concentration by using the main characteristic spectral lines and can introduce a non-linearity form, thereby modifying the residual errors caused by calibration curve fitting by using a large amount of information in the spectral lines and avoiding the introduction of excessive noise signals, and reducing the influence on maternal effect at the same time so as to achieve the higher measurement accuracy.

The invention relates to water-soluble near infrared luminescent quinoline squaraine dye, of which the molecular structural general formula is shown on the figure. The method for preparing the water-soluble near infrared luminescent quinoline squaraine dye comprises that: firstly, 2-methylquinoline is subjected to bromination, sulfonation, nitration and acylation and reacts with acetonitrile and iodo-acid or iodo-ester to generate quinoline quaternary ammonium salt; and secondly, the quinoline quaternary ammonium salt is mixed with squaric acid, and the mixture is subjected to azeotropic distillation and dehydration, vacuum distillation and silica gel column chromatography and recrystallization through ethanol to obtain the water-soluble quinoline squaraine dye. The dye is applied in the fields of development of novel medicines, fluorescence labeling, probes, biological immunoassay, biological immunodetection and the like. The fluorescence-emission wavelength of the water-soluble quinoline squaraine dye is near infrared, so that the water-soluble quinoline squaraine dye has superior penetrability on environments and biological tissues and reduces self absorption and background absorption, and the sensitivity of fluorescence analysis can reach 10<-10> mol / L. The method comprises the following steps: sequentially sending two paths of lasers with different axes by a double-pulse solid laser under the control of a delay generator, enabling one path of laser to climb along a light path and to vertically impact the surface of a sample so as to stimulate generation of plasma, and enabling the other path of laser to directly impact the plasma; collecting characteristic spectral lines; choosing four spectral lines free of self absorption, self inversion and with highest strength from the characteristic spectral lines according to to-be-detected heavy metals and microelements; building a plurality of multi-element regression models by taking a sample reference value as output and taking the strength of the spectral lines as input, choosing four optimal models, and building a comprehensive model by taking prediction results of the four models as input and taking the sample reference value as output; and inputting the obtained strength of the four spectral lines into the comprehensive model on account of to-be-detected fresh plant leaves, and calculating the content of the heavy metals and the microelements.

The 133Ba surface source is located above the polyethylene boxes containing the air samples. The upper surface and the lower surface of each polyethylene box are used as lower absorption layers. The detector comprises a crystal, an aluminum outer shell and a carbon material window, wherein the aluminum outer shell is located outside the crystal, and the carbon material window is located on the aluminum outer shell and located above the crystal. The polyethylene boxes are placed above the window of the detector. According to the device and method for detection efficiency calibration of the xenon sample HPGe, the height of the adopted radioactive source is increased in an evenly-spaced mode, the 133Ba surface source is used for replacing a 133Xe sample to conduct efficiency calibration, the peak efficiency of the 137Cs point source is used for correcting correction factors conforming to the addition of the peak efficiency of the 133Ba surface source, and the technical problems that an existing detection efficiency calibration method is quite high in requirement for activity of the source, the self-absorption problem exists in rays, and larger uncertainty exists are solved.
