The invention relates to a preparation method of a petroleum asphalt-based carbon quantum dot. After chemical oxidization, besides oxygen-containing functional groups at the edge, a petroleum asphalt nanosheet further has carbine-like zigzag structure and carbine-like armchairs structures.
