The heat exchanger anti-icing method comprises the steps that the protection temperature, the protection time delay and the anti-icing returning protection temperature difference are set; an anti-icing temperature sensor is arranged at the bottom of a water side heat exchanger to obtain the anti-icing temperature in real time; and an anti-icing mechanism of an evaporator is determined according to the anti-icing temperature, the protection temperature, the protection time delay and the anti-icing returning protection temperature difference. The method has the beneficial effects that by detecting the temperature of the bottom of the water side heat exchanger, a control system can accurately recognize the internal temperature of the water side heat exchanger, and therefore the situation that the evaporator is iced and damaged when a unit is defrosted in winter is effectively avoided.
