An improved motorized decoy is provided for attracting and holding the attention of a live game animal by simulating the appearance, movements, sounds, and smells of a live game animal or an animal that is native to the habitat of a selected game animal. The decoy includes a decoy body that may be bifurcated into a forward portion and a rear portion, one or more motors, and an optional support member. Together, the motors may produce, either individually or in combination, the following movements: (1) movement of the entire decoy body relative to a fixed ground position, (2) movement of the head and neck portion of the decoy body relative to the rear portion of the decoy body, (3) movement of the ears relative to the head and neck portion, (4) movement of the tail relative to the rear portion, and (5) movement of one or more legs relative to the rear portion. Method for preparing aluminum oxide coated modified lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxygen cathode material

The invention discloses a method for preparing an aluminum oxide coated modified lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxygen cathode material. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparation of a precursor: mixing water-soluble metallic nickel salt, cobalt salt and manganese salt into a mixed solution, dripping the mixed solution, a precipitator and a morphological control agent into a reaction container, controlling the pH value and reaction temperature of a system, and performing filtering, washing and vacuum drying after reaction to obtain a (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, wherein x, y and x+y are more than 0 and less than 1; (2) preparation of an aluminum oxide coated precursor: dispersing the (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, water-soluble aluminum salt and a disperser into deionized water, stirring while heating until the disperser is hydrolyzed, filtering to obtain an Al(OH)3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, roasting the precursor in a sintering furnace to obtain Al2O3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor powder; and (3) uniformly mixing the Al2O3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor powder with lithium salt powder, and calcinating at high temperature to obtain an aluminum oxide coated modified Li(NixCoyMn1-x-y)O2 cathode material with a lamellar crystal structure.

Paraffin alkylation

A liquid acid process is disclosed in which a hydrocarbon component containing an olefin, an olefin precursor or mixture and an isoalkane and a liquid acid catalyst is fed to a downflow reaction zone containing a disperser, under conditions to induce pulse flow at or near the outlet to react the isoalkane and olefin to produce a reaction product and feeding the reaction product to a vaporization zone containing a disperser under conditions to induce pulse flow at or near the outlet of the vaporization zone. A pressure drop across the disperser in the vaporization zone causes partial vaporization of the hydrocarbon which quenches the heat reaction and cooling the unvaporized portion of said reaction product, which is recovered and allowed to separate into an acid phase and hydrocarbon phase containing the alkylate. The acid catalyst and hydrocarbons may be fractally fed to the reaction zone.
