A disperser for dry powders which can be used with different dose systems, dose weights ranging from 2 to 25 mg and different types of powder formulation. In one embodiment, the disperser acts both as a de-agglomeration (disintegration; aerosolization) means and as an air classifier for especially adhesive mixtures. Only fine drug particles are emitted whereas the larger agglomerates and carrier crystals are retained by the disperser. Another embodiment enables time controlled release of carrier crystals in these mixtures. Yet another embodiment has optimized performance with spherical pellets, containing no carrier crystals. Other possible embodiments of the invention make it possible to control the total inhaler resistance and the powder deposition in the upper respiratory tract by means of the addition of a so-called sheath flow of clean air. Modifications also enable carrier retainment in the mouthpiece and elimination of the tangential flow component of the discharge cloud.

An apparatus and method for ultrafast real-time optical imaging that can be used for imaging dynamic events such as microfluidics or laser surgery is provided. The apparatus and methods encode spatial information from a sample into a back reflection of a two-dimensional spectral brush that is generated with a two-dimensional disperser and a light source that is mapped in to the time domain with a temporal disperser. The temporal waveform is preferably captured by an optical detector, converted to an electrical signal that is digitized and processed to provide two dimensional and three dimensional images. The produced signals can be optically or electronically amplified. Detection may be improved with correlation matching against a database in the time domain or the spatial domain. Embodiments for endoscopy, microscopy and simultaneous imaging and laser ablation with a single fiber are illustrated.

This invention discloses a method for preparing modified aqueous polyurethane adhesive. The method comprises: (1) modifying epoxy resin with modifier to obtain modified epoxy resin; (2) reacting polyisocyanate with polyester or polyol polyether, and adding chain extender to obtain polyurethane with prepolymer; (3) modifying polyurethane prepolymer with modified epoxy resin to obtain modified polyurethane prepolymer; (4) adding water, dispersing by a high-speed disperser, and adding neutralizer and crosslinking agent to obtain modified aqueous polyurethane adhesive. This invention introduces epoxy resin into the modification of aqueous polyurethane adhesive, thus combines high modulus, high strength and good chemical resistance of epoxy resin with the advantages of polyurethane resin. The modified aqueous polyurethane adhesive can meet the needs of automobile inner decoration materials. The method has such advantages as simple process, and low cost.

The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparation of a precursor: mixing water-soluble metallic nickel salt, cobalt salt and manganese salt into a mixed solution, dripping the mixed solution, a precipitator and a morphological control agent into a reaction container, controlling the pH value and reaction temperature of a system, and performing filtering, washing and vacuum drying after reaction to obtain a (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, wherein x, y and x+y are more than 0 and less than 1; (2) preparation of an aluminum oxide coated precursor: dispersing the (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, water-soluble aluminum salt and a disperser into deionized water, stirring while heating until the disperser is hydrolyzed, filtering to obtain an Al(OH)3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor, roasting the precursor in a sintering furnace to obtain Al2O3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor powder; and (3) uniformly mixing the Al2O3-coated (NixCoyMn1-x-y)(OH)2 precursor powder with lithium salt powder, and calcinating at high temperature to obtain an aluminum oxide coated modified Li(NixCoyMn1-x-y)O2 cathode material with a lamellar crystal structure.

A pressure drop across the disperser in the vaporization zone causes partial vaporization of the hydrocarbon which quenches the heat reaction and cooling the unvaporized portion of said reaction product, which is recovered and allowed to separate into an acid phase and hydrocarbon phase containing the alkylate. The acid catalyst and hydrocarbons may be fractally fed to the reaction zone.

The invention relates to a preparation method of an organic fluorosiloxane modified polyurethane emulsion containing a short fluoroalkyl chain.
