The invention discloses a preparation method and application of a
vegetable oil-based environment-friendly
plasticizer with high
thermal stability, and belongs to the field of
fine chemical synthesisand plastic additive application. According to the invention,
oleic acid, 1, 8-octanediol,
hydrogen peroxide and
acetic anhydride are used as main raw materials and the method comprises the followingsteps: carrying out an
esterification reaction to prepare 1, 8-octanediol dioleate, carrying out an epoxidation reaction process to obtain a
plasticizer epoxy 1, 8-octanediol dioleate, and finally, carrying out an
acetylation reaction process to obtain another
vegetable oil-based environment-friendly
plasticizer acetyl 1, 8-octanediol dioleate. According to the invention,
epoxy 1, 3-
butanediol isprepared; the catalyst is prepared from 1, 8-octanediol dioleate and acetyl 1, 8-octanediol dioleate. The two plasticizers are 1, 8-octanediol dioleate and 1, 8-octanediol dioleate. The prepared two
vegetable oil-based plasticizers are low in
viscosity and light in color, good compatibility is shown when the two plasticizers are mixed with PVC, compared with DOTP and DOA, the vegetable oil-based plasticizers have excellent mechanical properties when applied to PVC, and the vegetable oil-based plasticizers are more outstanding in
thermal stability and migration resistance. The two plasticizershave excellent comprehensive properties, are suitable for industrial production, and are expected to replace the traditional
phthalate plasticizers.
