The present invention relates to plasma cleaning methods for removing surface deposits from a surface, such as the interior of a depositions chamber that is used in fabricating electronic devices. The present invention also provides gas mixtures and activated gas mixtures which provide superior performance in removing deposits from a surface. The methods involve activating a gas mixture comprising a carbon or sulfur source, NF3, and optionally, an oxygen source to form an activated gas, and contacting the activated gas mixture with surface deposits to remove the surface deposits wherein the activated gas mixture acts to passivate the interior surfaces of the apparatus to reduce the rate of surface recombination of gas phase species.

Thickened fabric conditioners

The present invention relates to thickened fabric conditioners, which fabric conditioners contain a particular polymeric thickener, which is obtained by polymerizing from 5 to 100 mole percent of a cationic vinyl addition monomer, from 0 to 95 mole percent of acrylamide, and from 70 to 300 ppm of a difunctional vinyl addition monomer cross-linking agent. As compared to such compositions comprising a similar product but obtained from a polymerization reaction using between 5 and 45 ppm cross-linking agent considerable advantages are obtained. Especially, the delivery of fragrance present in the softening composition is more efficiently carried over to the fabrics to be treated.

Perfumed liquid laundry detergent compositions with functionalized silicone fabric care agents

The invention is directed to aqueous liquid laundry detergent compositions for cleaning and imparting fabric care benefits to fabrics laundered therewith and to methods for preparing such compositions. Such compositions comprise (A) at least one textile-cleaning surfactant; (B) droplets of miscible silicones comprising both a polarly-functionalized, preferably nitrogen-containing amino or ammonium functionalized, polysiloxane component and a nitrogen-free non-functionalized or non-polarly-functionalized polysiloxane component; and (C) a perfume component comprising fragrant aldehydes and / or ketones or a pro-perfume capable of providing such aldheyde and / or ketone perfume materials in situ. Incorporation of a polarly-functionalized polysiloxane fabric care agent into liquid laundry detergent compositions by miscibly combining it with a non-functionalized or non-polarly functionalized polysiloxane minimizes the undesirable interaction such polarly-functionalized silicone material might otherwise have with aldehyde and / or ketone perfume compounds.

Personal care compositions with color changing indicator

The invention describes a composition for use in disinfecting a surface for personal use, such as a public restroom facility or telephone. The composition and delivery of the composition provides for the placement of a thin layer of disinfectant which includes a acid-base indicator. The acid-base indicator disappears as the thin layer effects the germicidal activity of the disinfectant. The composition is also rapidly drying, so that the acid-base indicator disappears as well as the disinfecting composition leaving the surface dry. The invention also relates to use of the compositions in a lotion, such as a sunscreen. Use of the acid-base indicator provides a method to visualize where the lotion is applied by color, with the color then later dissipating.
