The invention relates to a method for cooperatively treating a waste mercuric
chloride contact agent through microwaves and ultrasonic
waves and belongs to the technical field of recycling and reusing of waste mercuric
chloride contact agents. The method comprises the steps of mixing the waste mercuric
chloride contact agent with quick
lime, so that a mixture A is obtained, adding water to the mixture A, and mixing the materials uniformly, so that a mixture B is obtained; under the
microwave and ultrasonic wave condition, making the mixture B be subjected to a leaching reaction, and conducting
filtration and
drying; under the
nitrogen gas condition, conducting
microwave roasting on a
drying product, so that mercury and a material C are obtained; and adding water to the material C, and then conducting ultrasonic wave leaching, so that
activated carbon and
metal salt are obtained. According to the method, in the pretreatment process, the microwaves and the ultrasonic
waves are synchronously introduced to cooperatively intensify the alkaline leaching process; cooperative treatment is conducted through the microwaves and the ultrasonic
waves; under the synergistic effect of heating, the
cavitation effect and the
catalytic effect, an enclosing body on the surface of the waste contact agent is opened; organic deposited carbon is degraded; and a reaction occurring between alkaline liquor and mercuric chloride is accelerated, thus
energy consumption generated in the process is lowered, and
treatment time is shortened.
