3282 results about "Ecosystem" patented technology

An ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment, interacting as a system. These biotic and abiotic components are linked together through nutrient cycles and energy flows. Energy enters the system through photosynthesis and is incorporated into plant tissue. By feeding on plants and on one-another, animals play an important role in the movement of matter and energy through the system. They also influence the quantity of plant and microbial biomass present. By breaking down dead organic matter, decomposers release carbon back to the atmosphere and facilitate nutrient cycling by converting nutrients stored in dead biomass back to a form that can be readily used by plants and other microbes.

Ecosystem method of aggregation and search and related techniques

Techniques are described for effecting data aggregation in a network. Event notifications are received from a plurality of content sites on the network. Each event notification indicates occurrence of an event associated with a corresponding one of the content sites. Each event corresponds to a change to content associated with the corresponding content site. In response to each event notification, event metadata are generated. The event metadata include a time stamp for the event and change data corresponding to the change to the content. The event metadata are indexed in a plurality of databases with reference to a plurality of index metrics including the time stamp. The indexing of the event metadata for each event occurs within days, hours, or even minutes of receipt of the corresponding event notification thereby enabling retrieving of the changes to the content from the plurality of databases using any of the index metrics in near real time.

System and Method to Enable PKI- and PMI- Based Distributed Locking of Content and Distributed Unlocking of Protected Content and/or Scoring of Users and/or Scoring of End-Entity Access Means - Added

A central server configured with an Attribute Authority (“AA”) acting as a Trusted Third Party mediating service provider and using X.509-compatible PKI and PMI, VPN technology, device-side thin client applications, security hardware (HSM, Network), cloud hosting, authentication, Active Directory and other solutions. This ecosystem results in real time management of credentials, identity profiles, communication lines, and keys. It is not centrally managed, rather distributes rights to users. Using its Inviter-Invitee protocol suite, Inviters vouch for the identity of Invitees who successfully complete the protocol establishing communication lines. Users establish and respond to authorization requests and other real-time verifications pertaining to accessing each communication line (not end point) and sharing encrypted digital files. These are auditable, brokered, trusted-relationships where such relationships / digital agreements can each stand-alone (for privacy) or can leverage build-up of identity confidence levels across relationships. The service is agnostic to how encrypted user content is transported or stored.

Emboli detection in the brain using a transcranial doppler photoacoustic device capable of vasculature and perfusion measurement

A device, method, and system for detecting emboli in the brain is disclosed. A transcranial Doppler photoacoustic device transmits a first energy to a region of interest at an internal site of a subject to produce an image and blood flow velocities of a region of interest by outputting an optical excitation energy to said region of interest and heating said region, causing a transient thermoelastic expansion and produce a wideband ultrasonic emission. Detectors receive the wideband ultrasonic emission and then generate an image of said region of interest from said wideband ultrasonic emission. A Doppler ultrasound signal will also be deployed to image the region of interest. Doppler presents changes in velocity to map blood flow. Additionally, a dye can be given to visualize the brain vasculature and a perfusion measurement can be made in various regions of the brain along with the transcranial Doppler and the photoacoustic screening. Systems are taught using resultory medical data for better triage within an enhanced stroke ecosystem.
