The invention relates to a surface anticorrosive antifouling coating using polydopamine as a base layer as well as a modification method and application of the coating. Dopamine, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES), and a superhydrophilic polymer (PHiG) containing epoxy groups or a superhydrophobic polymer (PHoG) containing epoxy groups are subjected to a layer-by-layer reaction on the surface ofa substrate to form the ternary composite coating. The method comprises the following steps: immersing the surface of the substrate (SS) in a Tris-HCl buffer solution of the dopamine to obtain polydopamine surface coating SS@PDA; immersing the SS@PDA in a hydrolysate of the APTES to further form organic silicone surface coating SS@PDA / Si at the surface; and immersing the SS@PDA / Si in a phosphatebuffer solution of the PHiG with a pH of 7.4 or an ethyl acetate solution of the PHoG to further modify the surface of the substrate by a polymer to obtain the composite coating SS@PDA / Si / PHiG or SS@PDA / Si / PHoG. The coating is suitable for anticorrosive antifouling modification of a plurality of surfaces.
