The metal antirust agent with the low viscosity is prepared from, by weight, 1-hydroxybenzotriazole, triethanolamine, ethylparaben, glycerin monostearate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, cocoanut oil fatty acid diethanol amide, alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, nonyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether, phytic acid, sodium nitrite, p-fluorobenzoylbut anoic acid, urotropine, hydrochloric acid and water. Compared with the prior art, the metal antirust agent with the low viscosity has the beneficial effects that the metal antirust agent is better compatible with materials and better adapts to materials such as copper and aluminum; meanwhile, the kinematic viscosity is obviously reduced, so that coating is easier and more convenient, the coating thickness of the antirust agent is reduced, and cost for rust protection is reduced.
