The invention relates to a method for measuring tin in tin bronze. The method comprises the following steps of (1) dissolution: weighing a tin bronze test specimen in a beaker; using HNO3 and HCl for dissolving the test specimen; performing dilution by water; (2) precipitate separation: adding an FeCl3 solution in a test specimen; regulating the pH value to be 7.5 to 8.5; performing filtering and precipitation; (3) titration: using HCl for dissolution and precipitation; adding aluminum powder or aluminum foils for reduction; then, adding NaHCO3 solid and acid for reaction to exhaust air; performing heating until the reaction is completed; then, using starch solution as an indicator; performing titration by a potassium iodate standard titration solution till the titration terminal point when the solution becomes purple.
