The invention belongs to the field of power systems and particularly relates to a method for locating faults of a power distribution network with
distributed power supplies. According to the method, on the basis of
voltage current information measured by synchronous
phasor measurement devices or fault recording devices installed on a main power supply and outlets of the
distributed power supplies, errors of measured values and calculated values of variations of voltages of the power supplies before and after the faults occur are compared to judge the positions of the faults, and
asymmetry of the
distributed power supplies, distribution transformers and distribution lines are taken into consideration in the process of solving the calculated values of
voltage change. According to the method, only the
voltage current information of the outlets of the power supplies needs to be obtained, the state information of a
relay protector, a breaker, a switching equipment and the like is not needed, the method has the advantages that less information is needed, the physical significance is definite, the calculation process is simple, and the fault locating accuracy is good; meanwhile, the more the number of the distributed power supplies is, the more the number of connected accesses along the power supplies is, and the less the number of disconnected accesses is; the method is more accurate.
