An enhanced transmitter for wireless power transmission is disclosed. The transmitter may be able to transmit radio frequency (RF) waves or pockets of energy for charging or powering an electronic device. The transmitter may include antenna element arrangements for receiving RF waves from a plurality of wireless sources and process them using a dedicated RF integrated circuit (RFIC) and set of antenna elements for receiving RF input signals from a plurality of wireless power sources. A digital signal processor (DSP) may be used to control reception using the dedicated RFIC and antenna elements of reception and to control transmission of wireless power selecting the transmitting RFICs and configuration of antenna elements to send RF waves or pockets of energy to a wireless receiver. The frequency of RF waves received may be sampled through a down converter array and line addressing devices to send the signals received to a micro-controller including a proprietary algorithm which control switching and processing necessary for faster and enhanced wireless power transmission, thus improving transmission efficiency.

Compositions and methods for rapid and highly efficient characterization of genetic diversity in organisms are provided. The methods involve rapid sequencing and characterization of extrachromosomal DNA, particularly plasmids, to identify and isolate useful nucleotide sequences. The method targets plasmid DNA and avoids repeated cloning and sequencing of the host chromosome, thus allowing one to focus on the genetic, elements carrying maximum genetic diversity. The method involves generating a library of extrachromosomal DNA clones, sequencing a portion of the clones, comparing the sequences against a database of existing DNA sequences, using an algorithm to select said novel nucleotide sequence based on the presence or absence of said portion in a database, and identification of at least one novel nucleotide sequence. The DNA sequence can also be translated in all six frames and the resulting amino acid sequences can be compared against a database of protein sequences. The integrated approach provides a rapid and efficient method to identify and isolate useful genes. Organisms of particular interest include, but are not limited to bacteria, fungi, algae, and the like. Compositions comprise a mini-cosmid vector comprising a stuffer fragment and at least one cos site.

Techniques for sentiment analysis of data using a convolutional neural network and a co-occurrence network

Techniques are provided for performing sentiment analysis on words in a first data set. An example embodiment includes generating a word embedding model including a first plurality of features. A value indicating sentiment for the words in the first data set can be determined using a convolutional neural network (CNN). A second plurality of features are generated based on bigrams identified in the data set. The bigrams can be generated using a co-occurrence graph. The model is updated to include the second plurality of features, and sentiment analysis can be performed on a second data set using the updated model.

Cascade utilization screening method of waste power batteries

The invention discloses a cascade utilization screening method of waste power batteries. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) charging a waste power battery pack, so that the state of charge (SOC) of the waste power battery pack is 15 to 80 percent; (2) detecting the open-circuit voltage and internal resistance of each single battery; (3) connecting the single waste power batteries in parallel until the open-circuit voltages of the single waste power batteries are basically the same, comparing the open-circuit voltages of the connected batteries with the open-circuit voltage of each single battery which is not connected in parallel, recording a voltage fluctuation situation, putting the waste single batteries and standard single batteries at the temperature of 30 to 55 DEG C for 3 to 7 days or at room temperature for 10 to 30 days, and detecting the open-circuit voltages and the internal resistance of the waste single batteries and the standard single batteries; and (4) comparing the single waste power batteries in terms of appearance, open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, voltage fluctuation and health, classifying the single waste power batteries, and matching battery packs in the same class with an energy storage power grid. The method is simple, the utilization rate of power batteries is improved, the usage cost of energy storage batteries is reduced, and the large-scale screening, classification and cascade utilization of waste power batteries can be realized.
