Method and system for processing data records

Disclosed herein are various exemplary systems and methods for linking entity references to entities and identifying associations between entities. In particular, a method for identifying an entity from a plurality of entity references, each entity reference being linked with a separate ghost entity, is provided. The method comprises the steps of comparing an entity reference of a first ghost entity with an entity reference of a second ghost entity to determine a match probability between the entity reference of the first ghost entity and the entity reference of the second ghost entity, linking the entity reference of the first ghost entity additionally with the second ghost entity and the entity reference of the second ghost entity additionally with the first ghost entity when the match probability is greater than or equal to a match threshold and repeating the steps of comparing and linking for one or more ghost entity pairings possible from the ghost entities. The method further comprises determining, for one or more entity references linked to a ghost entity, a score for the entity reference based at least in part on a match probability between the entity reference and a value representing the one or more entity references linked to the ghost entity and identifying the ghost entity as an actual entity based at least in part on one or more scores for the one or more entity references linked to the ghost entity.

Electronic program guide with multiple day planner

A system and method for implementing an electronic programming guide that allows a television viewer to access and interact with television viewing information. The electronic programming guide provides the viewer with a grid which lists channels, titles and show times. One format for presenting the grid shows an entire week of programming. Each row contains a show that is to be broadcast one or more times during the week. The first column lists the name of the show and the second column indicates the length of the show. The next seven columns represent the days of the week. For each time that a show is to be broadcast, the show time and channel are displayed in the appropriate column. The grid can be sorted many ways including by title, category, actors or search terms.

An enhanced transmitter for wireless power transmission is disclosed. The transmitter may be able to transmit radio frequency (RF) waves or pockets of energy for charging or powering an electronic device. The transmitter may include antenna element arrangements for receiving RF waves from a plurality of wireless sources and process them using a dedicated RF integrated circuit (RFIC) and set of antenna elements for receiving RF input signals from a plurality of wireless power sources. A digital signal processor (DSP) may be used to control reception using the dedicated RFIC and antenna elements of reception and to control transmission of wireless power selecting the transmitting RFICs and configuration of antenna elements to send RF waves or pockets of energy to a wireless receiver. The frequency of RF waves received may be sampled through a down converter array and line addressing devices to send the signals received to a micro-controller including a proprietary algorithm which control switching and processing necessary for faster and enhanced wireless power transmission, thus improving transmission efficiency.

Described invention and its embodiments, in part, facilitate discovery of ‘Most Recent Common Ancestors’ in the family trees between a massive plurality of individuals who have been predicted to be related according to amount of deoxyribonucleic acids (DNA) shared as determined from a plurality of 3rd party genome sequencing and matching systems. This facilitation is enabled through a holistic set of distributed software Agents running, in part, a plurality of cooperating Machine Learning systems, such as smart evolutionary algorithms, custom classification algorithms, cluster analysis and geo-temporal proximity analysis, which in part, enable and rely on a system of Knowledge Management applied to manually input and data-mined evidences and hierarchical clusters, quality metrics, fuzzy logic constraints and Bayesian network inspired inference sharing spanning across and between all data available on personal family trees or system created virtual trees, and employing all available data regarding the genome-matching results of Users associated to those trees, and all available historical data influencing the subjects in the trees, which are represented in a form of Competitive Learning network. Derivative results of this system include, in part, automated clustering and association of phenotypes to genotypes, automated recreation of ancestor partial genomes from accumulated DNA from triangulations and the traits correlated to that DNA, and a system of cognitive computing based on distributed neural networks with mobile Agents mediating activation according to connection weights.

Optimizing compilation of pointer variables in the presence of indirect function calls

InactiveUS6173444B1Eliminate redundant definitionReduce universal data setSoftware engineeringSpecific program execution arrangementsCompilerPointer aliasing
Effective use of optimizing techniques during compilation is difficult in programs that make liberal use of pointers or indirect function calls. The indirection often means that the compiler cannot precisely determine the set of objects pointed to by a pointer at a specific location in the program, and therefore cannot efficiently eliminate pointer redundancies in the code. The present invention provides an optimising method that reduces the size of alias sets associated with program pointers. During an initial compilation phase, intraprocedural information about pointer variables referenced in each function of the program is gathered and saved in a data structure called the pointer alias graph. In the middle phase, the pointer alias graphs from all the compilation units for the program are combined to form a universal pointer alias graph and then transitive closure is performed on the universal pointer alias graph to produce a reduced graph containing the list of objects that each pointer variable can point to. In the final phase, all the files are re-compiled using the universal pointer alias graph as input, resolving all occurrences where pointer variables are de-referenced.
