The invention discloses a high-strength anti-swelling chitosan-based physical hydrogel and a preparation method thereof. The physical hydrogel is prepared by introducing CEC with low carboxylation degree into a polyacrylamide hydrophobic cross-linking system (HPAM) by adopting a semi-interpenetrating network strategy and utilizing electrostatic interaction, crystallization effect and the like of N-carboxyethyl chitosan (CEC). The preparation method mainly comprises the following steps: sequentially adding CEC, acrylamide and octadecyl methacrylate into a mixed solution of lauryl sodium sulfateand sodium chloride, stirring the components until complete dissolution, adding an ammonium persulfate initiator, performing ultrasonic treatment for removing bubbles, and carrying out a reaction inan oven at 40-80 DEG C for at least 6 hours, thereby finally obtaining the transparent HPAM-CEC physical hydrogel. The prepared physical hydrogel has excellent mechanical properties and swelling resistance, and has biocompatibility, self-repairing performance and conductivity, the application range of the chitosan-based hydrogel material is further widened, and the chitosan-based hydrogel materialis expected to be applied to the fields of wearable flexible electronic devices and soft robots.
