The invention relates to a soft seal gate valve, which comprises a valve body, a gate disc vertically moving along gate disc slideways at the two sides in the valve body and a valve rod which operates the gate disc to vertically move to start and stop; the two sides of the gate disc are provided with gate disc sliding grooves sliding on the gate disc slideways; the contact parts between the gate disc sliding grooves and the gate disc slideways are provided with pressure protection grooves used for relieving liquid pressure; the gate disc is formed by coating a layer of rubber material on the outer surface of a casting substrate; the inner wall and the outer surface of the valve body are sprayed with a non-toxic odourless resin (RAL7040) powder coating layer; and three plane seals are adopted between the lower part of the gate disc and a runner of the valve body for contact. In the soft seal gate valve, a layer of rubber is used for coating the gate disc and the inner wall of the valve body is sprayed with the non-toxic resin powder coating layer to thoroughly prevent the contact of liquid and metal and secondary pollution. The valve has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, is safer in application and flexibility in starting. Moreover, water flow can be completely cut off by the three seals to ensure the service life of the valve.
