A holding member provides for releasably positioning a rotating control head assembly in a subsea housing. The holding member engages an internal formation in the subsea housing to resist movement of the rotating control head assembly relative to the subsea housing. The rotating control head assembly is sealed with the subsea housing when the holding member engages the internal formation. An extendible portion of the holding member assembly extrudes an elastomer between an upper portion and a lower portion of the internal housing to seal the rotating control head assembly with the subsea housing. Pressure relief mechanisms release excess pressure in the subsea housing and a pressure compensation mechanism pressurize bearings in the bearing assembly at a predetermined pressure.

Micro-gas pressure driving apparatus

A micro-gas pressure driving apparatus includes a miniature gas transportation module and a miniature valve module. The miniature gas transportation module includes a gas inlet plate, a fluid channel plate, a resonance membrane and a piezoelectric actuator. A first chamber is defined between the resonance membrane and the piezoelectric actuator. After the piezoelectric actuator is activated to feed a gas through the gas inlet plate, the gas is transferred to the first chamber through the fluid channel plate and the resonance membrane and then transferred downwardly. Consequently, a pressure gradient is generated to continuously push the gas. The miniature valve module includes a gas collecting plate, a valve membrane and a gas outlet plate. After the gas is transferred from the miniature gas transportation module to the gas-collecting chamber, the gas is transferred in one direction, so that a pressure-collecting operation or a pressure-releasing operation is selectively performed.

Pullout spray head with single-button mode selector

A spray head for a faucet or the like has a wand body defining a flow path from an inlet to first and second outlets. Diverter seats are provided so a face seal on a diverter spool can direct flow to the first or second outlet. The spool is positioned by a trigger acting on cam surfaces formed on a toggle. A spring biases the toggle to one of two stable states. Movement of the spool by the trigger causes the toggle to change states so subsequent actuation of the trigger causes the spool to move in the opposite direction. The wand body also has a pause button that reciprocates in a chamber that is part of the flow path. The chamber includes a valve seat and the pause button has a spool having a face seal that is engageable with the valve seat to shut off flow through the spray head. A return spring causes separation of the pause button's face seal upon release of pressure on the pause button. The pause button's seals in the chamber are arranged to have equal diameters and thus provide balanced hydraulic forces on the spool.

Method for preparing polymer microporous foaming material by supercritical mould foaming

The invention provides a method for preparing a polymer microporous foaming material by supercritical mould foaming. The method comprises the following steps of: heating a foaming mould on a mould press to the foaming temperature; placing a polymer into the mould; closing the mould by using the mould press; sealing the mould; introducing supercritical fluid, which swells and diffuses to the polymer, into the mould; and opening the mould by using the mould press to release pressure and foam to obtain the polymer microporous foaming material. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that: the high-temperature and high-pressure supercritical fluid is used for swelling the polymer, so the moulding cycle is greatly shortened; the limit that only microporous foaming sheet material with lesser thickness can be manufactured in the prior art is broken through, so a polymer microporous foaming plate with greater thickness can be manufactured; when the mould is opened, the pressure-releasing speed is high and the foaming pore core-forming speed is high, so the formed microporous foaming material has smaller foaming pores, higher pore density and more excellent performance; and multiple layers of moulds can be placed on one mould press, so the method is suitable for industrialized scale production.

A fluid end for a high-pressure pump including a unitary body with a plurality of horizontal passages each for receiving a reciprocating plunger at one of its ends and a pressure relief valve at the other of its ends. A definitive socket for residual limb prosthetic use is formed in a single molding step by compressive pressure casting or molding a pre-formed, moldable, hardenable socket material over a residual limb and curing the socket material to a load-bearing hardened condition while it is maintained under peripheral compressive pressure against the residual limb and while the residual limb is tensioned in a distal direction during the casting process. The combination of pressure casting the socket material and applying tension to the residual limb in a distal direction while the socket material is curing results in forming a definitive socket that fits well to the residual limb after curing without substantial rectification. Pressure relief formations, socket coverings, and a prosthesis coupler may be compression molded simultaneously with the socket.

The in-hole drilling tool comprises a water supple device or an air supple device, a high-pressure sealing drill pipe, a slotting and punching valve and a drill bit. The water supply device and the air supply device are connected with the high-pressure sealing drill pipe at an orifice. The slotting and punching valve is installed between the high-pressure sealing drill pipe and the drill bit. The in-hole drilling tool is essentially used for drilling and anti-reflective outburst eliminating after drilling of soft outburst coal seam. The using method is as follows: after the drilling construction is finished, a water supplier with a pressure release valve is used for starting a high-pressure pumping station to improve the pressure and the flux for water supply; high-pressure water current at the pumping station drives the slotting and punching valve to act for closing an axial liquid passage and opening a radial liquid passage; and high-pressure jet current realizes slotting or punching through a cutting nozzle or a punching nozzle. The invention has novel design and easy operation, is safe and reliable, improves the outburst elimination efficiency and realizes the integrated operation of drilling, slotting or punching and outburst eliminating.

Pressure actuated valve for multi-chamber syringe applications

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for disposing a valve within a barrel of a conventional syringe to provide, first, a mixing syringe embodiment and, second, a sequential delivery syringe embodiment. Generally, the valve divides the syringe barrel into a proximal and a distal chamber. When used for mixing, the valve is self-displaceable by expansion of decompressing matter disposed within the valve against exterior matter permitting proximal displacement of the valve independent of character of matter in the distal chamber. For sequential delivery, switching of the valve occurs after switch opening causing pressure is relieved, thereby reducing inadvertent uncontrolled flow when the valve opens. In addition, a combination mixing and flush syringe is disclosed whereby a mixing and a flush capability is provided within a conventional syringe.

Disclosed is an unique reclosable metal bottle in which a trim portion of the neck can be reused and mounted on the neck as a collar, or a separate collar provided, that has the structural rigidity necessary to form threads or lugs for recloseability. Thin wall metal bottles, having thicknesses on the order of thin wall metal cans currently in use, can be made using this process with minimal material waste since the trim neck portion is reused as a threaded collar. Structural rigidity and strength can be added by using fillers to backfill the indentations of the threads in the collar. Threads or lugs can be used, including pressure release lugs, that add both safety and convenience. Since the reclosable metal bottle is an all-metal container, the bottle can be recycled without introducing contaminants.
