alloy and a preparing method of the
manganese additive. The
manganese additive comprises manganese
powder, aluminum
powder,
iron powder and fluxing agents. The manganese
powder, the aluminum powder, the
iron powder and the fluxing agents are crushed under protection of
inert gas. The manganese additive further comprises a surfactant. The manganese additive comprises 86%-97% of the manganese powder, 2.39%-6.39% of the aluminum powder, 0.01%-5% of the fluxing agents, 0.5%-2% of the surfactant and 0%-6% of the
iron powder. According to the size distribution, the manganese powder comprises 35%-40% of manganese powder bodies with the size
ranging from 325 meshes to 700 meshes, 40%-45% of manganese powder bodies with the size
ranging from 100 meshes to 325 meshes, 5%-15% of manganese powder bodies with the size
ranging from 60 meshes to 100 meshes and 0%-5% of manganese powder bodies with the size ranging from 10 meshes to 60 meshes. The size distribution of the aluminum powder ranges from 60 meshes to 300 meshes. The size distribution of the fluxing agents ranges from 60 meshes to 300 meshes. The method includes the steps of 1, crushing, 2, material preparing, 3, material mixing, 4, pressing, 5,
drying, 6 packaging and the like. According to the manganese additive for the aluminum
alloy, the content of manganese is high; and when the manganese additive is dissolved into molten aluminum, the
melting temperature is low, the melting time is short, and the
recovery rate of manganese is high.
