The invention discloses efficient
formaldehyde purification water-based
sepiolite paint which is prepared from, by weight, 15-25 parts of deionized water, 5-25 parts of
sepiolite, 0.1-5.0 parts of surface modifying agents, 10-50 parts of inorganic mineral fillers, 0.5-5.0 parts of
magnesium aluminum silicate inorganic gel, 0.5-5.0 parts of function additives, 0.5-5.0 parts of anti-
mildew and antibacterial materials, 5-25 parts of bonding materials, 5-25 parts of
titanium dioxide, 0.1-5.0 parts of pigments and 0.2-1.0 part of
cellulose. The preparation method includes the steps: 1) preparing suspension liquid from
sepiolite and deionized water, dispersing the suspension liquid at high speed to form gel-like substances, and heating mixture to reach the temperature of 60-70 DEG C, and addingthe surface modifying agents; 2) preparing suspension liquid from
magnesium aluminum silicate inorganic gel, and dispersing the suspension liquid to prepare pregel; 3) adding the function additives into the deionized water to stir mixture, adding the inorganic mineral fillers, the
titanium dioxide, the sepiolite prepared in the step 1), the
magnesium aluminum silicate inorganic gel prepared in thestep 2) and the
cellulose to stir mixture, and adding the bonding materials, the anti-
mildew and antibacterial materials and the pigments. The paint removes
odor and is
environmentally friendly, resistant to
formaldehyde and excellent in heat storage stability.
