Hydrogen-bond interaction occurs between mesoporous silica gel and calcium alginate as well as polyacrylamide, so that the strength and stability under the physiological environment of the hydrogel are promoted. The strength is still kept above 70% of the initial value and the breaking energy is more than that of natural cartilage, after the hydrogel is soaked in normal saline or simulated body fluid for 45 days. The preparation method is simple and quick, no toxic reagent is introduced, and the material has excellent biocompatibility and can be used as a substitute of cartilago articularis.
