High friction and radar attenuating coating formulations are provided and include a resin matrix, a particulate friction additive dispersed in the resin matrix in an amount sufficient to achieve a minimum coefficient of friction according to MIL-PRF-24667B(SH), and a particulate dielectric filler dispersed in the resin matrix in an amount sufficient to achieve a permitivitty (∈′) of less than about 10 and a loss tangent (tan δ) of less than about 0.05. A substrate surface may be coated with the coating formulation so as to provide a topcoat layer thereon. The topcoat layer may thus be applied directly onto the substrate surface. Alternatively, the coating formulation is present as a topcoat layer component of a coating system on the substrate which further comprises an intermediate layer interposed between the topcoat layer and a surface of the substrate and/or a primer layer coated directly onto the surface of a substrate between the topcoat layer and the substrate. In some embodiments, the coating formulation is applied so as to form a series of substantially parallel ridges having a predetermined directional orientation. In certain preferred embodiments, the coating formulation is applied to a block area on the substrate surface comprised of plural areal regions, wherein the directional orientation of the substantially parallel ridges of one areal region are angularly biased with respect to the directional orientation of the substantially parallel ridges of an adjacent areal region.

Fog seal modified emulsified asphalt and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to fog seal modified emulsified asphalt which comprises the following components by weight: 18-35% of asphalt, 8-18% of an asphalt modifying agent, 5-12% of an asphalt regenerating agent, 1-4% of a compound emulsifying agent and 50% of water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: directly adding the asphalt modifying agent and the asphalt regenerating agent to hot melt asphalt for mixing to prepare modified asphalt; mixing and emulsifying the modified asphalt and an aqueous solution of the compound emulsifying agent through a colloid mill; and mechanically stirring to prepare the fog seal modified emulsified asphalt. The prepared fog seal modified emulsified asphalt has the advantages of good storage stability, good water dilutability, environmental protection in use, good surface consolidation performance after construction, good abrasion resistance, difficult sticking off by wheels, short traffic close time, improvement of construction conditions, improvement of construction efficiency, good water seal function, asphalt pavement water damage prevention, pavement structure protection and extension of pavement service life.

The invention provides a wind tunnel experiment strut vibration suppression system and method based on a piezoelectric technology. The system comprises a laser displacement sensor, a data collector, a control calculation module, a closed loop amplification module and a piezoelectric actuator. The method comprises the steps that: the laser displacement sensor collects the normal vibration displacement of a controlled strut; a normal vibration displacement signal is converted into a normal vibration displacement digital amount through the data collector; the normal vibration displacement digital amount is used as feedback control and is sent to the control calculation module; an actuating control voltage signal is obtained through performing PID control in the control calculation module; the actuating control voltage signal is amplified to drive the piezoelectric actuator to generate an actuating force to increase structure damping of the system, so that the vibration of the strut in the wind tunnel experiment is suppressed, the strut vibration caused by the impact of a wind tunnel starting impacting load to the model is reduced, the wind tunnel test device and the tested model structure are protected and the signal to noise ratio of the dynamic wind tunnel experiment data is increased.
