The invention discloses a temporary steel protective
coating. The temporary steel protective
coating comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10-20% of tetraethoxysilane, 3-8% of
silane monomer, 35-50% of water, 0.001-0.01% of acidic catalyst, 30-40% of mixed
solvent and 1-5% of
silane coupling agent. According to the invention, during
coating synthesis, tetraethoxysilane, a
silane monomer, a mixed
solvent, water and an acidic catalyst are subjected to a
sol-
gel method, thus an organic-inorganic
composite material is prepared through self-
assembly and is of a three-dimensional mesh structure. A large number of hydroxyl groups are contained in the structure, thus the organic-inorganic
composite material can be well combined with chemical bonds on the surface of steel. Thestructure contains one or more organic groups such as methyl capable of exerting
hydrophobic effect, thus a base material is separated from
water vapor and protection
efficacy is achieved. Meanwhile, due to the organic-inorganic
hybrid property of the material, the material is excellent in combination with silicates, the material can be used for temporary protection in an early stage of use by building steel and lasting protection after use by the building steel, and the performance of the material is superior to that of a method for spraying a layer of
silane coupling agent
diluent on the surface of the base material.
