A spin valve device includes a non-magnetic enhancement layer adjacent an ultra thin free layer. The thickness of the free layer may be less than the mean free path of a conduction electron through the free layer. The GMR ratio is significantly improved for free layer thicknesses below 50 Å. The enhancement layer allows electrons to travel longer in their spin state before encountering scattering sites. The electronic properties of the enhancement layer material can be matched with the adjacent free layer without creating a low resistance shunt path. Because the free layer may be made ultra thin and the enhancement layer is formed of a nonmagnetic material, less magnetic field is required to align the free layer, allowing for improved data density. Also, the enhancement layer allows for effective bias point control by shifting sensor current density distribution.

The LED tube lamp includes a control circuit that selectively determines whether to perform a first mode or a second mode of lighting operation according to a state of a property of an external driving signal and a switching circuit coupled to the control circuit and the LED unit. When the control circuit determines to perform the first mode of lighting operation, the control circuit controls the second circuit in a manner such that the switching circuit maintains its on state to allow continual current to flow through the LED unit, until the external driving signal is disconnected from the LED tube lamp, and when the control circuit determines to perform the second mode of lighting operation, the control circuit controls the switching circuit in a manner to regulate the continuity of current to flow through the LED unit by alternately turning on and off the switching circuit.

The invention discloses a polyaniline-based MOF nanocomposite flexible supercapacitor and a preparation method thereof. MIL-101 is one of MOF materials with excellent acid-resistance stability. The method provided by the invention comprises the steps that a PANI / MIL-101 composite material is prepared; the PANI / MIL-101 composite material, acetylene black and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) are uniformly dispersed in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) in a certain proportion to form a slurry, and the slurry is coated on carbon fiber cloth to form electrodes; a gel electrolyte is used to symmetrically stack two electrodes, and the middle space is separated by a diaphragm; and the electrodes are packaged to prepare the flexible supercapacitor. The specific capacity of the electrode material is up to1197 F / g. The prepared supercapacitor has only 10% attenuation of the specific capacity after 1000 times of bending. The cyclic stability test 10000 cycles can maintain more than 90% of the specific capacity. Four supercapacitors are connected in series to light up a 1.8V red LED. The flexible supercapacitor prepared by the invention has good flexibility and electrochemical performance, and has agood application prospect in the aspects of flexible electronic devices and energy storage.

A microwave probe having a metal tip on the free end of a microcantilever. In one embodiment, a pyramidal pit is isotropically etched in a device wafer of monocrystalline silicon. Oxidation may sharpen the pit. Deposited metal forms the metal tip in the pit and a bottom shield. Other metal sandwiched between equally thick dielectric layers contact the tip and form a conduction path along the cantilever for the probe and detected signals. Further metal forms a top shield overlying the conduction path and the dielectrically isolated tip and having equal thickness to the bottom shield, thus producing together with the symmetric dielectric layers a balanced structure with reduced thermal bending. The device wafer is bonded to a handle wafer. The handle is formed and remaining silicon of the device wafer is removed to release the cantilever.

This invention provides a system capable of melting solder and removing the melted solder from a substrate. The heating system includes a desoldering tool having at least two handles, a first handle and a second handle. This way, an operator may grip the first handle or the second handle depending on the operator's preference of gripping the desoldering tool. This configuration allows the leading section to have a shortened channel that is substantially straight and aligned with the passage formed within the first handle to minimize the resistant to flow of the melted solder through the channel which is then deposited into the storage.
