The invention discloses a treatment method for improving a
machining property of
rattan. The treatment method is characterized by comprising the following steps that (1), raw materials are subjected to treatment, after the heating treatment, the scarfskin is stripped; (2) the
rattan is subjected to
grinding, specifically, a 70-mesh
abrasive belt and a 160-mesh
abrasive belt are utilized to conduct
grinding till the surface of the
rattan is smooth; (3) the rattan is subjected to
salt water immersion, specifically, the
salt water with the concentration being 9% to 13% is utilized to conduct immersion on the rattan in a pressure
cooker; (4) the rattan is subjected to
fermentation and
softening, specifically,
acetic acid bacteria is utilized to conduct
fermentation and
softening on the rattan soaked into a culture solution; (5) the rattan is subjected to
ionization treatment, specifically, a water solution containing a
fire retardant is added into an
ionization tank, the rattan is subjected to immersion by using 60-70 V and 87-92 V correspondingly, and the positive and negative
anode exchanging frequency is 1 time / 2 minutes; and (6) the rattan is subjected to
fumigation by using
sulfur, specifically, the
sulfur is burned to fumigate the rattan in a closed room. By adopting the treatment method, the treated rattan is high in
tortuosity and good in
flame resistance, and has an anticorrosion function, and the components used in the treatment method are green,
environmentally friendly and high in safety.
