The invention discloses a preparing method of a silicon viscosity reducer for the drilling fluid, comprising steps: step one, adding proper water in a reactor, then feeding methyl chlorosilane, stirring and reacting for generating mixed solution, cooling the mixed solution; step two, adding aqueous alkali into the cooled reaction solution for complete reaction, feeding aluminium sulphate solution, stirring and reacting for a period, forming the silicon viscosity reducer for the drilling fluid. The prepared viscosity reducer has strong high-temperature (more than 240 DEG C) resistance and high compatibility with the other substances, good mud stream rheological property, dilution, viscosity reduction property and lubricating property. The working substance content is higher or equal to 16%; the chloride content is lower or equal to 10% and the viscosity reduction ratio is higher or equal to 80% at the room temperature and the viscosity reduction ratio at 220 DEG C for 16 hours is higher than or equal to 70%.
