A pH regulation and control site is found to exist in both proteins which are regulated and controlled by pH. Under low nitrogen condition, OsNRT2.3 transgenic plant shows higherefficiency in transport of nitrate, thus improving the utilization efficiency of nitrogen and the ultimate output.
