The invention provides a novel double-
cylinder air pump. The novel double-
cylinder air pump comprises a motor, a shell, a front end cover, a
cam, a slide block, a slide block sleeve, connecting rods,pistons, a U-shaped lock piece, guide columns, cylinders, sheets, screws, front and back sealing pieces, left and right sealing pieces and small screws. The motor is screwed on the back end surface ofthe shell; the front end cover is screwed on the front end surface of the shell; a
motor shaft extends into an inner cavity of the shell; the
cam is pinned on the
motor shaft; a thin end of the
cam is hinged to a hinge column at the back part of the slide block; the slide block slides on the guide column on an inner ring of the slide block sleeve; the connecting rods protrude from two sides of the slide block sleeve; the pistons are mounted at the
tail ends of the connecting rods; two cylinders are mounted on two sides of the shell respectively; the sheets are screwed on the cover walls of the outer ends of the cylinders to form one-way valve structures with intake holes; after the motor is started, the cam rotates to drive the slide block to rotate, the slide block pushes the slide blocksleeve to move left and right, and the pistons perform a
reciprocating motion in the cylinders; and air is sucked into the cylinders from the intake holes, and is exhausted from exhaust holes into external pipelines.
