The antibacterial guanidine salt copolymer is amphiphilic and has adjustable terminal groups, so that the copolymer can be directly added to resin having a reactive functional group, and therefore, the antibacterial guanidine salt copolymer is tightly bonded to the basic resin through the reaction between the antibacterial guanidine salt copolymer and the basic resin so that a corresponding product has durable antibacterial function. The copolymer, whether in an aqueous system or a non-aqueous system, can be applied to achieve the antibacterial function, so that usage of the guanidine salt copolymer is greatly broadened.
