A kind of antibacterial polypropylene foam plastics and preparation method thereof

The invention provides an antibacterial polypropylene foaming plastic and a preparation method thereof. According to the invention, the composition comprises blended matrix resins, composite antimicrobial agents and chemical foaming agents, wherein in terms of 100 parts of matrix resins by weight, 0.5-5 parts of composite antimicrobial agents by weight are contained. The matrix resin is selected from a blend of polypropylene and low density polyethylene or high melt strength polypropylene. The composite antimicrobial agent is polyguanidinium / polysilicate composite antimicrobial agent which isobtained by mixing an auqeous solution of water soluble polyguanidinium inorganic acid salt or organic acid salt and an auqeous solution of water soluble silicate and then adding an auqeous solution of water soluble metal salt; the mole ratio of the water soluble polyguanidinium inorganic acid salt or organic acid salt and the water soluble silicate is 10:1-1:50; and the mole ratio of the water soluble silicate and the water soluble metal salt is 5:1-1:3. The polypropylene foaming plastic provided by the invention has multiple advantages of high sterilization rate, high resistance to water washing, light weight, heat insulation and the like and plays an important role in aspects like food packaging, household appliances and the like.
