The invention relates to a
neutron detector low current amplification device capable of achieving background compensation. The
neutron detector low current amplification device comprises a self-powered
neutron detector, an armored
signal cable and a shielding cable and further comprises a
signal current conversion amplification module used for converting current signals into
voltage signals and a compensating current conversion amplification module. The neutron detector low current amplification device further comprises a subtraction
processing module used for obtaining two amplitude subtracting signals of two
voltage signals and an amplitude adjustment module for adjusting the
voltage signal amplitude. The invention further relates to a neutron detector low current amplification method capable of achieving background compensation. The method includes the steps of collecting current signals of an emitter and current signals of a background core wire, converting the current signals into voltage signals, performing amplitude subtracting on the voltage signals, and finally obtaining final voltage signals corresponding to
neutron flux. According to the neutron detector low current amplification device and method capable of achieving background compensation, the influence, generated by
gamma ray irradiation, on currents is eliminated; accurate wide-range measurement of neutron currents of the self-powered neutron detector can be achieved; in the neutron detector low current amplification device and method capable of achieving background compensation, the accurate measurement range of neutron currents can reach 10-11 A to 10-5 A.
