A method for extracting depth domain seismic
wavelet from depth domain seismic data by using a
ridge regression method is realized in the invention. The method for extracting depth domain seismic
wavelet from depth domain seismic data comprises the steps of (1) obtaining depth, speed and density information from the
log data of a well, and calculating a corresponding
reflection coefficient r, (2) extracting a well side seismic channel set s of the well from
prestack depth migration seismic data, selecting a
constant velocity vc as a standard speed, and carrying out the conversion of speed and depth parameters on the selected well side seismic channel set s such that the well side seismic channel set s is in accordance with a linear time invariant condition to obtain a transformed well side seismic channel set s', (3) mapping the
reflection coefficient r to a transformed depth position to be r', and (4) selecting a suitable
ridge parameter alpha, and using the
ridge regression method to extract seismic
wavelet. According to the method of the invention, the depth domain seismic data is directly used to extract the depth domain seismic wavelet, the precision of the extracted depth domain seismic wavelet is high, the
mutual transformation from a
time domain to a depth domain and from the depth domain to the
time domain of the depth domain seismic data is not needed.
