The invention discloses a preparation method and application of internal-external dual cross-linked core-shell structured acrylic acid emulsion. The method employs a multi-step pre-emulsification and polymerization process for seed emulsion to prepare the acrylic acid emulsion and mainly comprises a first step of preparation of seed monomers, a second step of seed emulsion polymerization, a third step of core emulsion polymerization and a fourth step of shell emulsion polymerization; after polymerization is finished, the pH value of the emulsion is adjusted, and adipic dihydrazide is added so as to obtain the internal-external dual cross-linked core-shell structured acrylic acid emulsion. According to the invention, polymerization stability and minimum film-forming temperature of the core-shell structured acrylic acid emulsion prepared in the invention are greatly improved; the acrylic acid emulsion is applied in the field of water-borne wood paints and can improve the cross-linking degree, density and hardness of a paint film and reduce water absorption and a glass transition temperature of the paint film.

The method combines two post cross-linking modes: (1) adding multivalent metal ion compounds to carry out cross-linking reactions; (2) adding diacetone acrylamide into emulsion so as to make diacetone acrylamide participate in the emulsion copolymerization reactions during the emulsion polymerization process so as to introduce keto-carbonyl groups into the chains of copolymer, and then adding binary caprylic hydrazide such as adipic dihydrazide into the emulsion so as to obtain the self cross-linking elastic emulsion. A diacetone-acrylamide and binary caprylic hydrazide cross-linking system and a carboxylic acid and multivalent metal salt cross-linking system are both simultaneously induced into an acrylate emulsion polymerization system to replace an elastic emulsion system formed trough a single reactive cross-linking agent; thus the polymerization property and storage stability of emulsion are improved, the waterproof property, contamination resistant property, after-tack property, and elastic elongation rate of the surface of a coating coated by the elastic emulsion are all improved; and the coating product which adopts the two room temperature self cross-linking systems, has a good adhesive force and elasticity, and has a very good surface waterproof property.

The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding 10-50% of emulsifier aqueous solution into a reaction kettle, stirring and raising the temperature; in an emulsifying kettle, sequentially adding monomer materials into the residual emulsifier aqueous solution in a high speed disperse state and stirring; then, adding 5% of monomer pre-emulsion into the reaction kettle, adding an initiator solution, and starting to add the residual emulsion and initiator solution dropwise when the temperature of the reaction kettle reaches 80 DEG C, and then starting cooling the reaction kettle; and adding the neutralizer, adipic dihydrazide and polycarbodiimide resin into the reaction kettle, stirring for 30-40 minutes and filtering and packaging. According to the room-temperature self-crosslinking wood lacquer emulsion provided by the invention, cross-linking reaction of diacetone-acryloamide and adipic dihydrazide, polycarbodiimide resin and methacrylic acid is adopted, and the double crosslinking reaction is of great benefit to enhancing the adhesive property of a film.
