The invention provides a supercapacitor electrode material and a preparation method thereof. A composite material with a core-shell structure formed by taking a hexagonal sheet-shaped specific crystalline nickel hydroxide as a core and a porous sheet-shaped specific crystalline manganese dioxide as a shell is arranged on the surface of a base material of a foamed nickel,. Electrode material was prepared by electrodeposition of manganese dioxide layer on foamed nickel substrate after hydrothermal reaction is performed to obtain nickel hydroxide. The supercapacitor electrode material is composedof two special crystalline forms of nickel hydroxide and manganese dioxide, which are combined on the porous material. The working electrode is tested by three-electrode system. The potential windowwidth of the working electrode is up to 1V, which is about 70% higher than the potential window of 0.4-0.6 V of the existing electrode materials. The synthesis method is simple, quick, green and environmental friendly, and the cost is low.

Preparation method of rare earth element modified platinum ruthenium nanoparticles

The invention provides a preparation method of rare earth element modified platinum ruthenium nanoparticles, which comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a mixed solution of a rare earth metal salt, a ruthenium salt and a platinum salt, adding the mixed solution into DMF (Dimethyl Formamide), and fully and uniformly stirring, (2) then introducing hydrogen, reacting at 120-160 DEG C, and then standing and cooling to room temperature to obtain the rare earth element modified platinum ruthenium nanoparticles. Centrifuging, washing and drying reactants to obtain rare earth oxide modified ruthenium platinum nanoparticles; and (3) uniformly mixing the obtained catalyst and carbon black, carrying out uniform ultrasonic treatment, drying, and carrying out heat treatment to obtain PtRu-REE / C which is used for electrochemical performance testing. Wherein the HOR performance of the Pt1Ru1-Er2O3 / C and the Pt1Ru1-EuOx / C nanoparticles under the alkaline condition is superior to that of commercial Pt / C. The method is simple, short in experimental process and mild in condition; a trace amount of rare earth is introduced into a platinum-ruthenium system, fine combination of characteristic structures is generated in combination with a solvothermal synthesis technology, and the obtained rare earth oxide modified ruthenium-platinum nanoparticles show excellent and remarkable HOR performance and are very suitable for large-scale production.
