The invention discloses a Fe-based bulk amorphous
alloy material and a preparation method thereof. The
alloy material has the following
chemical formula: (Fe100-aCoa)x-Moy-Bz-Dyw; the preparation method is as follows: according to needed
atomic ratio of target components, Fe, Co, Mo, B and Dy are weighed and mixed after being converted to
mass percent; the raw materials are put in to a vacuum induction
smelting furnace, and the furnace is vacuumized to 4.0*10 Pa; then high purity
argon is introduced for protection till a sample is melted; after
oxide skin is removed, the raw materials are ground to small pieces; the small pieces are put into a
quartz tube and the
quartz tube is vacuumized; high purity
argon is introduced into an
induction furnace chamber, and the
alloy is heated by a
high frequency induction coil and melted; the melted alloy liquid is sprayed and injected into a
copper mould by the high purity
argon, thus obtaining the Fe-based bulk amorphous alloy material. The alloy material of the invention has high
glass forming capacity, a wide
supercooling liquid phase region with DeltaTx equal to 76K to 98K, high crush resistance and breaking tenacity Sigmaf which is approximately equal to 3500 MPa and high vickers
hardness Hv which is approximately equal to 1130; in addition, the cost is low. Meanwhile, the preparation method is simple and can be applied to structural materials, magnetic materials and the like.
