The invention discloses a terrace pond construction method and a terrace pond structure applicable to a hydro-fluctuation belt water bay slope. The method mainly comprises the steps of (1) constructing a 'land-hydro-fluctuation belt-
water body' foundation, (2) arranging a water collecting pond, (3) trimming a hydro-fluctuation belt or part of land into a terraced field along the slope, (4) planting floating plants, emergent aquatic plants, hygrophilous plants and damp tolerant plants along the terraced field from bottom to top, and culturing fishes in a
water body area, wherein in the terrace pond structure, the slope is in a step structure, at least one water collecting pond is arranged on the step structure, a water
sprayer and a water pipeline are arranged in the water collecting pond, a
submersible pump is arranged in the
water body area, and the water pipeline is arranged at the bottom of the water collecting pond and is communicated with the immersible pump; the
height difference between every two adjacent ladders of the terrace field is 0.3-1.5m, and the width of the surface of each ladder is 1.5-15m. The terrace pond structure also has the functions of water-soil high-efficient utilization, non-
point source pollution prevention and control and landscape, and is particularly applicable to the hydro-fluctuation belts at reservoirs, rivers or lakes where the
bank has a certain slope and the
water level variation amplitude is large.
