Method for improving catalyst reacting activity in the propylene producing through propane dehydrogenation

A method to promote the activity of a catalyst for dehydrogenation of propane to propylene is as follows: (1) an inorganic oxide bonding agent, a promoter and an acid solvent are added into a heat-resistant oxide; then after the oxide bonding agent, the promoter, the acid solvent and the oxide are kneaded evenly, the oxide is molded by rolling or band-extruding; (2) the catalyst carrier prepared is dried for 2 to 10 hours under the temperature of 60 centigrade degrees, and calcined under the temperature of 400 to 800 degrees; (3) the calcined carrier is immersed in a rare earth metal water solution under the temperature of 60 to 100 centigrade degrees for 2 to 10 hours; (4) the catalyst carrier modified by the rare earth is immersed in a water solution comprising platinum metal elementsand the fourteenth metal elements under the temperature of 400 to 600 centigrade degrees for 2 to 10 hours, and then the carrier is filtered, washed with distilled water, dried under the temperature of 60 to 180 centigrade degrees for 2 to 10 hours, and calcined under the temperature of 400 to 600 centigrade degrees for 2 to 10 hours; (5) the catalyst prepared is activated in the air under the temperature of 400 to 600 centigrade degrees for 3 to 10 hours, and reduced in a hydrogen flow under the temperature of 400 to 600 centigrade degrees for 2 to 10 hours; the reduced catalyst is used for catalytic reaction for dehydrogenation of propane to propylene.

The method has simple process steps, and substitutes traditional aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide with sodium hydroxide or a dispersion of sodium hydroxide and glycerol; sodium hydroxide is completely soluble in glycerol but disperses in glycerol, so as to avoid fast reaction after mixing of sodium hydroxide solution with oil too, reduce the initial reaction rate of saponification, and effectively control saponification reaction rate; along with the saponification reaction, the reaction product of glycerol continuously increases to help more fully dispersion of sodium hydroxide, accelerate the reaction rate of sodium hydroxide and the remaining oil. The output of the extruder body may be monitored for composition accuracy, wherein the amount of hard to incorporate additives added is dynamically adjusted based upon the monitored output. The process may be repeated for thermosetting powder coating compositions having distinct hard to incorporate additives utilizing a common base material in the pre-mix hopper. Use of one or more hyperdispersed pigments in the formation of a powder coating is also disclosed.

The invention provides a method for preparing silicon dioxide-coated quantum dots. The method comprises the following steps of: dispersing CdSe / CdS core-shell structural quantum dots into cyclohexane to obtain first mixed liquid; adding n-hexane, surfactant and ethyl orthosilicate into the first mixed liquid to obtain second mixed liquid; adding ammonia water into the second mixed liquid to carry out reaction; and depositing and separating a reaction product to obtain the silicon dioxide-coated quantum dots. The method firstly disperses the CdSe / CdS core-shell structural quantum dots into the cyclohexane to obtain the first mixed liquid, and then adds the n-hexane into the first mixed liquid serving as a dispersant. Since the n-hexane has similar polarity to the cyclohexane, the quantum dots can be dispersed into the n-hexane well. SiO2 formed by the hydrolysis of the ethyl orthosilicate can be coated on the quantum dots to the largest extent to obtain SiO2-coated CdSe / CdS core-shell structural quantum dots with uniform particle size.
