The invention discloses an
infrared spectroscopy method for measuring a content of
polyvinyl chloride in a
polyvinyl chloride pipe. The method comprises the following steps: (1) establishing a
standard curve: mixing PVC and an
internal standard substance according to different
mass ratios, selecting at least five proportions for combination, then dissolving in a mixed
solvent, respectively
coating a
potassium bromide sheet special for an
infrared spectrometer with the solution, and measuring
absorbance (A); calculating the
absorbance of the
internal standard substance and PVC in a specified wave number range by using integral
software, calculating a ratio (A
internal standard / APVC), and establishing a working curve by using the A internal standard / APVC and the
mass ratio m internal standard / mPVC; and (2) detecting the actual sample: dissolving the actual sample and the internal standard substance in a mixed
solvent, and determining the A internal standard substance / APVC by using a method same as that when the working curve is established; and substituting into the working curve to obtain m internal standard / m PVC, and thus obtaining the PVC content in the sample. By adding the internal standard substance, the
mass fraction of PVC in the sample is quantitatively determined, the analysis range is wide, dependence on other components in the formula is avoided, the anti-interference capability is high, and the detection is rapid and efficient.
