The invention relates to a preparation method of a high-density
lithium iron phosphate material, and belongs to the technical field of
lithium-
ion batteries. The preparation method of the high-density
lithium iron phosphate material comprises the following technical processes of (1) manufacturing spherical
iron phosphate, namely carrying out dry ball milling on
anhydrous iron
phosphate, taking out the product, putting the product into a fusion spheronizer and further shaping the product for 1-10 hours; (2) preparing a spherical precursor, namely mixing the iron
phosphate with a lithium source and a
carbon source evenly, further
grinding under a liquid-phase
system and then preparing the dry spherical precursor through a spraying method; (3) densifying the precursor, namely supercharging the dry spherical precursor through air pressure of 10-100MPa for 0.2-5 hours, taking out the spherical precursor and then
sintering in an electric furnace; and (4) preparing high-density
lithium iron phosphate, namely carrying out particle size classification on the material through a classifier, carrying out particle
size matching mixing and achieving hole filling to obtain the high-compaction density
lithium iron phosphate material. The method has the advantages of being simple in process, convenient to operate, accurate in control and high in production efficiency, and the volume
energy density of the lithium-
ion battery can be greatly improved.
