The negative ion based paint is prepared by mixing the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-50 parts of synthetic resin emulsion; 5-30 parts of a negative ion additive; 15-30 parts of filler; 5-10 parts of an aid and 20-40 parts of deionized water; the negative ion based paint can be used as a main raw material for preparation of negative ion texture coatings, and is a new type coating ingredient product. By introduction of a negative ion additive into the negative ion based paint, a film forming matter of a final coating product has continued negative ion releasing function. At the same time, the preparation method of the negative ion based paint is simple and convenient, and can reduce the industrial production cost. In addition, the negative ion coatings prepared from the negative ion based paint have low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content, can greatly reduce the environmental pollution, are environmentally-friendly, can be used for residential buildings, commercial buildings, public buildings and other places, and has broad application prospects.
