The invention discloses a polymerized gold-
silicon insulator material with the tracking and
erosion resistant grade being 1A4.5 or higher, and a preparation method and application thereof. The polymerized gold-
silicon insulator material is prepared from raw materials including
polyethylene,
polypropylene,
methyl silicone rubber and aluminum
hydroxide powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps of preheating a banburying
machine to 150 to 160 DEG C; adding the
polypropylene and the
methyl silicone rubber; then, descending an upper top bolt; performing banburying for 115 to 120s at 0.5 to 0.6 MPa and 150 to 160 DEG C; adding the
polyethylene, and performing the banburying for 115 to 120s at 0.5 to 0.6 MPa and 150 to 160 DEG C; regulating the roller distance to be 3.8mm; switching on a power supply switch so that a mixing mill operates; opening a circulation water valve; then, feeding rubber materials discharged out from the banburying
machine onto a mixing mill for roll covering; after the temperature of the
rubber material is lowered to a value below 110 DEG C, adding the aluminum
hydroxide powder; respectively performing left and right cutter
cutting twice at each of the left side and the right side; after the aluminum
hydroxide powder is uniformly mixed, performing material
cutting, cooling and
granulation; and obtaining the material. The material can be used for manufacturing an insulator; the requirements on the insulator electric characteristics and mechanical properties of the insulator and the requirements on the service life can be met; the tracking and
erosion resistant grade is 1A6 grade; and the maximum
erosion depth is smaller than 2mm.
