A method of improving the detection limits of a mass spectrometer by: generating sample ions from an ion source; storing the sample ions in a first ion storage device; ejecting the stored ions into an ion selection device; selecting and ejecting ions of a chosen mass to charge ratio out of the ion selection device; storing the ions ejected from the ion selection device in a second ion storage device without passing them back through the ion selection device; repeating the preceding steps so as to augment the ions of the said chosen mass to charge ratio stored in the second ion storage device; and transferring the augmented ions of the said chosen mass to charge ratio back to the first ion storage device for subsequent analysis.

The invention discloses a method of preparing a g-C3N4 / silicon carbon cathode material of a lithium ion battery by electrostatic spinning and an application thereof. The method comprises the followingsteps: (1) adding polyvinylpyrrolidone into N,N-dimethylformamide to obtain a polyvinylpyrrolidone solution; (2) adding nano silicon into the polyvinylpyrrolidone solution to obtain a mixed solutionA; (3) adding urea into the mixed solution A to obtain a mixed solution B; (4) carrying out electrostatic spinning on the mixed solution B to obtain a silicon polymer composite material; and (5) putting the silicon polymer composite material in an inert gas environment, heating the material to 200-400 DEG C, keeping the temperature constantly for 3-6 hours, and heating the material to 500-700 DEGC and keeping the temperature constantly for 3-6 hours to obtain the g-C3N4 / silicon carbon cathode material of the lithium ion battery. The g-C3N4 / silicon carbon cathode material of the lithium ion battery has the advantages of being high in specific capacity, stable to recycle, good in rate performance and the like.

According to such a constitution, higher degree of vacuum and the ion transmission efficiency are maintained without increasing the length of the vacuum chamber. Furthermore, it is possible to minimize the attenuation of an ion detection signal due to a collision with a neighboring neutral molecule, improving the sensitivity of an ion detection device.

The material comprises a major structure with a chemical formula Li1+x+yAlx(Ti,Ge)2-xSiyP3-yO12, and lithium iodide dispersed in the major structure, wherein the major structure of the material is an NASICON fast ion conductor; x is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 0.4; y is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 0.1; and the mass percentage a of lithium iodide in the material is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 10%. The preparation method of the material comprises the following steps of (1) synthesizing the major structure: selecting raw materials according to a stoichiometric equation of the solid electrolyte material and performing planet ball milling, cold pressing and a solid-phase reaction to obtain the major structure of the dense flaky solid electrolyte material, and (2) performing modification treatment: soaking a sample obtained in Step (1) in a lithium iodide aqueous solution, performing heating for some time, taking the sample out, cleaning the sample and performing vacuum drying treatment. According to the solid electrolyte material and the preparation method, a lithium iodide material with lithium ion conduction property is added to a solid electrolyte layer, so that the interface impedance is reduced, a three-dimensional ion conduction network is formed, and the ion conductivity is improved.
