A latch mechanism is provided for easy sealing of the reactor and header blocks to the plate. A method of treating and / or preventing carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is provided, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a botulinum toxin to a patient in need thereof or a patient at risk for development of CTS. More specifically, the method includes one or more injections of a botulinum toxin over a period of time into one or more muscles of the hand and / or wrist, or directly into the carpal tunnel along the median nerve. Pharmaceutical compositions are provided as are combination therapies with other agents such as anti-inflammatory drugs, growth factors, and agents useful in the treatment of neuropathic pain. The use of the methods of the present invention are also contemplated with other treatment regimens used to treat patients having carpal tunnel syndrome.

According to the preparation method, the macroporous material prepared by using the MOGs as a pore-foaming agent is used as the carrier and synergistically matched with the crosslinker with a high addition proportion, thereby preparing the surface molecularly imprinted polymers SMIPs with good template molecule identifying selectivity, large adsorption capacity and high adsorption and desorption speed.

According to the method, by utilizing the laccase to carry out pretreatment, lignin in the shaddock ped can be effectively degraded, the surface microstructure of the shaddock ped powder can be damaged to facilitate releasing of the pectin during acidolysis, and therefore the purposeof increasing the extraction rate of the pectin is achieved. The obtained pectin has the advantages of being great in solubleness, high in esterification degree, less in ash content and the like. Themethod can increase the comprehensive utilization value of the shaddock ped, reduce pollution caused by waste shaddock ped to the environment and can also be applied to technological processes of extracting the pectin from other natural raw materials containing lignin at the same time.
