This is based on certain novel divalent metal and quaternary ammonium complexes (ion-pairs) of zeolites (that are made by an in-situ process), which in synergistic combination with certain other compositions, provide a comprehensive treatment for diaper rash that encompasses the following aspects: (1) deactivation of lipase and protease enzymes on skin surface, (2) the controlled-release delivery of skin protectant compositions, such as divalent metal zinc cation, (3) trapping of acidic and alkaline chemicals deposited on skin from body exudates and enzyme activity, (4) controlled-release delivery of anti-inflammatory agents, and COX and LOX enzyme inhibitors, (5) controlled-release delivery of antibacterial and antifungal compositions, and (6) absorption of excess moisture in the diaper zone.

Process for producing fatty acid lower alcohol ester

The present invention provides a method for producing a fatty acid ester inexpensively and efficiently by reacting a lipase or an intact mircroorganism containing a lipase, an oil and fat, and a linear lower alcohol in a system containing little or no solvent in the presence of water. The intact microorganism has not been treated with a solvent or the like, and is used as such, so that a fatty acid ester can be prepared in a simple manner. An oil and fat, a natural oil and fat such as a vegetable oil and fat, an animal oil and fat, as well as a waste oil thereof can be used. According to the method of the present invention, a reaction proceeds even in the presence of water, so that waste oils containing a large amount of water can be used as a raw material. Therefore, the waste oil to be dumped into the environment can be recycled, and a biodiesel fuel, which hardly pollutes the environment, can be provided at the same time.

Antifouling composition comprising an enzyme in the absence of its substrate

The present invention in one aspect relates to a coating composition comprising at least one enzyme capable of acting on a compound, wherein said action results in the formation of an antifouling species comprising an antifouling activity, and wherein said compound does not form part of said coating composition. The coating composition preferably comprises at least one oxidase capable of acting on a compound, such as a substrate for said oxidase, wherein said action results in the formation of an antifouling species including an antimicrobial species comprising an antimicrobial activity. More preferred, the oxidase comprises an activity which results in the formation of a peroxide. The oxidase can be present in said coating composition in combination with one or more additional enzymes including, but not limited to, an esterase, including a lipase, an amidase, including a protease, and a polysaccharide degrading enzyme, wherein said one or more additional enzyme(s), alone or in any combination, can be included in the presence or absence of one or more substrates for one or more of said enzymes.

The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out intra-molecular rearrangement reaction to palm oil with palmitic acid content of higher than 50% under the action of catalyst to obtain Sn-2 locus triglyceride with palmitic acid content of higher than 50%; and carrying out ester exchange reaction to the Sn-2 locus triglyceride with palmitic acid content of higher than 50% with mixed fatty acid or non-glyceride under the action of 1,3 locus Specificity lipase, and then subjecting the reaction product to after treatment, so as to obtain the grease with humanized structure, wherein the mixed fatty acid is mixture of at least two selected from the group consisting of decanoic acid, lauric acid,myristic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid. The vegetable oils are used as the raw material according to the method, so the safety is high; the preparation process is simple, the reaction time is short, the enzyme dosage is low, and the cost is low; and the prepared grease with the humanized structure is very similar to the beast milk fat in the composition of fatty acid and the structural distribution of triglyceride, so the grease can be added in infant formula or formula foods and used as breast milk fat substitute.

Method for extracting rice protein from rice

The present invention discloses a method for extracting rice protein from rice. Said method includes the following steps: cleaning rice, soaking, removing sand, grinding to make pulp, concentrating and drying rice protein; also includes the steps of fine-grinding rice pulp, adopting dished separating machine to make multistage separation and making the protein pulp undergo the process of enzyme treatment. The described enzyme treatment is characterized by that in the multistage separated and combined rice protein pulp the following enzymes are successively added to make reaction: adding 0.05%-0.2% of amylase, temp. is 60-70 deg.C and time is 40-60 min; adding 0.05%-0.2% of cellulase, temp. is 40-50 deg.C and time is 2-3 hr; and adding 0.1%-1% of lipase, temp. is 40-60 deg.C and time is 2-3 hr. Said method can implement industrial production of rice protein.
