Many military land vehicles are not designed to withstand extreme forces concomitant exploding mines. A vehicle's capacity to protect its occupants is inventively enhanced by structurally augmenting the vehicle, in lower structural portions closely related to the vehicle's cabin, with both elastomeric and rigid (non-elastomeric) materials. An elastomeric layer and a rigid layer (typically embodied as a metal or composite sheet or plate) are added to the vehicle in each of seven locations, viz., the four wheel wells (left-front, right-front, left-rear, right-rear), the two floorboards (left and right), and the intervening underside area. At each wheel well and floorboard location, the elastomer is sandwiched between the vehicle's existing rigid structure and the rigid member so as to form a tri-layer material system. At the intervening underside location, an elastomer-coated rigid member is attached with the elastomer face-down. The seven material systems are energy-dissipative and impact-deflective both locally and globally.

The ferromagnetic tunnel junction structure is also characterized in that the Co-based full Heusler alloy comprises a substance represented by the following formula: Co2FeAlxSi1-x (0≦x≦1). Also disclosed are a magnetoresistive element and a spintronics device, each of which utilizes the ferromagnetic tunnel junction structure and can achieve a high TMR value, that cannot be achieved by employing conventional tunnel barrier layers other than a MgO barrier.

In the invention, the forecasting precision is improved, the calculation time is decreased, and the stability is enhanced.

An object is to provide an improved customization of a hearing instrument. The method includes the steps a) providing an estimate of the present cognitive load of the user; b) providing processing of an input signal originating from the input sound according to a user's particular needs; and c) adapting the processing in dependence of the estimate the present cognitive load of the user. The estimate of the present cognitive load of a user is produced by in-situ direct measures of cognitive load (e.g. based on EEG-measurements, body temperature, etc.) or by an on-line cognitive model in the hearing aid system whose parameters have been preferably adjusted to fit to the individual user.

Electric power telecommunication network device fault prediction method based on improved LSTM

The invention relates to an electric power telecommunication network device fault prediction method based on improved LSTM. The invention provides a data preprocessing and time sequence input construction method for the first time. Compared with the simple recurrent neural network, the LSTM is more likely to learn long-term dependence and can solve the prediction problems related to sequences. Because of the strong association between device alerts, the independence of variables can be ensured through PCA. The target replication strategy is also used for improving the LSTM, which can bring local error information in every step. Compared with a simple target output only in the last step, the strategy can improve the accuracy of the model and reduce the risk of over fitting. In combination with dropout, the invention proposes a prediction model of LSTM, which can achieve better prediction precision by deep learning. At the same time, the LSTM is usd for modeling electric power telecommunication network alarm data for the first time and identifying the timing sequence mode therein.
